Mr ANOULACK CHANTHIVONG (Macquarie Fields—Minister for Better Regulation and Fair Trading, Minister for Industry and Trade, Minister for Innovation, Science and Technology, Minister for Building, and Minister for Corrections) — Congratulations Jordan Huynh of Macquarie Fields High School on receiving a NSW State Representative Award for his efforts in competitive swimming. Thirteen-year-old Jordan suffers from a hereditary condition known as bi-lateral hand/foot malformation, which creates challenges to performing everyday physical activities. Despite these challenges, Jordan is an accomplished multi-class swimmer who has represented Glenfield Public School, Macquarie Fields High School and Campbelltown Swimming Club at State and National level. Jordan has travelled all over Australia to compete and has ambitions to one day represent Australia at the Paralympics. Competing at this level requires dedication, commitment and stamina. Jordan trains four days a week, with an early start from 4.30am. I had the honour of meeting Jordan and his carers at my Electorate Office in Ingleburn and was impressed by this inspirational young man. Our community is immensely proud of Jordan's extraordinary efforts and achievements. I look forward to following Jordan's journey and wish him every success in his endeavours.
