Ingleburn RSL Sub Branch Auxiliary

Community Recognition Statement

I had the honour of helping Ingleburn RSL Sub Branch Auxiliary NSW volunteers pack care packages to send to Australian troops serving overseas this Christmas.

As a member of the Ingleburn RSL Sub Branch Auxiliary myself, I was only too happy to help pack boxes full of goodies, including a variety of food items, a beanie and handmade knitted poppy.

A total of 80 boxes were packed and sent from Ingleburn for our servicemen, while seven boxes were packed especially to cater for our servicewomen overseas.

The boxes will help boost morale at a time when Australian troops deployed overseas will be particularly missing loved ones.

I would like to acknowledge the efforts of the Ingleburn RSL Sub Branch Auxiliary NSW and all of the volunteers who give generously of their time.

A special mention to President, Christine Frame; and President of the State RSL Auxiliaries, Pauline James.

Your dedication and community service is greatly appreciated and Australian troops serving overseas will be most grateful this Christmas for your kind thoughts and generous hearts.
