Mr ANOULACK CHANTHIVONG (Macquarie Fields—Minister for Better Regulation and Fair Trading, Minister for Industry and Trade, Minister for Innovation, Science and Technology, Minister for Building, and Minister for Corrections) — Our local young innovators have shown the world that they are not a one-hit wonder. I am proud of our Ingleburn Public School students who competed at the Universal Robotics Challenge world final in Japan in September and came third overall. This achievement continues Ingleburn Public School's winning streak in the competition. The school made history when it placed third on the world stage in 2024 – the first and only Australian team to achieve a podium finish in the history of the robotics world finals. That legacy continues in 2025 with the new team of Year 5 and Year 6 students, including Harper Taylor, Naboneeta Kamal, Sarah Wiltshire and Emily Winnacott, gaining a well-earned top three finish as well. The team was supported by the wonderful and caring teachers, Ms Melinda Phan, Ms Sandra Nguyen and Ms Tina Truong. Ingleburn Public School continues to lead the way in innovation and preparing students for a future of new technological frontiers. Congratulations to all involved on this fantastic achievement.
