Mr ANOULACK CHANTHIVONG (Macquarie Fields—Minister for Better Regulation and Fair Trading, Minister for Industry and Trade, Minister for Innovation, Science and Technology, Minister for Building, and Minister for Corrections) — I acknowledge the community contributions of the Ingleburn Knitting Group and was honoured to present them with a 2025 NSW Seniors Local Achievement Award. The Ingleburn Knitting Group has been going strong for more than 10 years – a remarkable milestone. The group has created items for premature babies, our local hospitals, women's refuge centres and dementia patients. Not only do they love to knit, but they enjoy sharing their passion with others. Over the years, the group has grown from around 10 people to more than 50 members. I commend all the members on their contributions to our community, big and small. I would like to particularly thank Jenny Watt for overseeing the group and helping it continue to thrive. The Ingleburn Knitting Group brings people together to connect, create and collaborate. I have visited the group on several occasions at the Greg Percival Community Centre in Ingleburn, and always enjoy their companionship. I congratulate Ingleburn Knitting Group on its well-deserved recognition. I wish the group every success for its future endeavours, and more knitted creations bestowing goodwill in our community.
