A topping out ceremony has been held to mark the next significant milestone in the delivery of the new Edmondson Park High School in Sydney’s rapidly growing south west.

Progress is well underway on the new high school, with the building’s structural phase now complete.

Edmondson Park High School will accommodate up to 800 students and include fit-for-purpose classrooms and core facilities to meet enrolment demand and support the growing population in south west Sydney.

The new high school, located adjacent to Edmondson Park Public School on Buchan Avenue, will include 37 modern classrooms, three support learning classrooms, and a range of world-class education facilities including science, technology, performing arts, and fitness hubs, a library, canteen, sports field and multi-sports courts and lecture theatre.

The project is on track for completion by Day 1, Term 1, 2027.

As part of the NSW Government’s plan to rebuild public education, the 2025-26 Budget is delivering $3.9 billion for new and upgraded schools in Western Sydney. This targeted investment will ensure growing communities get access to a world-class public education.
